Giddapahar Green, Darjeeling This rare green tea steeps up a light golden/green color with a very smooth, slightly sweet, very fresh taste, with no edge or bite at all. It's sort of like a autumnal Darjeeling, except greener and lighter. |

Orange Valley Estate, Darjeeling, Autumnal, SFTGFOP1 This is one of the smoothest and mellowest Darjeeling black teas I have ever tasted. It has a hint of a sweet summer fruit note to the cup with a fresh meadowy aroma. It has slightly more body than many Darjeeling black teas, but surprisingly doesn't produce the astringency of many Darjeeling teas. A wonderful tea to drink all day long. |

Selim Hill Estate, 2nd Flush, FTGFOP1 This lovely 2nd flush Darjeeling black tea steeps up very smooth with good body. Being a Darjeeling 2nd flush it is medium-bodied and produces a liquor with soft notes of a muscatel sweetness, and little or no astringency. This is a great 2nd flush Darjeeling tea for the price. |

Sourenee Estate, Darjeeling, FTGFOP1, 1st Flush, ORGANIC This is a fabulous and unusual first flush Darjeeling black tea. It has a very fresh and beguiling aroma, with hints of blooming flowers. The steeped liquor is very complex: with all the classic notes of a first flush Darjeeling black tea but it also has slight spicy, almost peppery notes. In addition it has very mild astringency compared to many first flush Darjeeling black teas. |

Glenburn Estate, 1st Flush, FTGFOP1, Lot DJ-36 What a great 1st flush Darjeeling tea! The steeped cup is medium-bodied, very floral, with fresh ripe notes to the flavor, which nicely contrast the light astringency that 1st flush Darjeelings are known for. |
