Longevity Oolong, Supreme This unique tea from the mountains of eastern Taiwan is a hand-made Ti Kwan Yin style tea. After the tea is first made, the leaf is baked to produce a slight toastiness, then it is stored and allowed to age for a year. After a year, it is baked again, and stored for a year, and so on. This produces a leaf that is almost coal-black and the steeped cup is dark, toasty, very smooth, and slightly fruity and sweet. The older this tea is, the more wonderful (and valuable) the tea becomes. This tea was originally made in 1979 and has been baked every year since then. The aroma and flavor are extraordinarily complex, with dark sweet notes mingling with hints of fruit and spice, and a smooth deep richness throughout. Amazing. |

Oriental Beauty A new lot of this most prized Taiwanese tea. These entirely hand processed leaves produce a liquor that is golden/amber, with a soft, sweet aroma. The steeped tea is medium-bodied, very complex with a very fresh character, slight woodsy notes, and a hint of a dark honey note. This tea is meant to be steeped multiple times with the flavor taking on different nuances with each steeping. An absolutely wonderful tea. |

Tung Ting Oolong This classic tea from the mountains of central Taiwan is sweet, silky, and floral. This is a "greener" oolong, meaning it is a little lighter and not very toasty. It delivers multiple steepings of a delicious cup. |
